Plainly, who we are

Campanile Lock & Key Berkeley is an independent locksmith shop in Berkeley, CA, covering Berkeley & the north East Bay. This policy applies to campanilelocksmithberkeley.com and to everything that follows from it: the call, the appointment, the invoice. We are nobody's franchise and nobody's lead broker.

Details you hand over

Only the estimate quiz asks you for anything. It wants a name, a working phone number, the neighbourhood, an optional email if you want the figure written down, and a description of the lock or the door. That is the whole list. No account, no mailing-list signup, no hidden chat collecting text as you type.

Details the site notices by itself

The page a request came from is stored with it, together with any campaign tag carried in the link, so a job that came from a search can be told apart from a job that came from an ad. Our host keeps ordinary server logs — address, browser, page requested — for security and uptime. None of that is assembled into a profile of a visitor.

The phone number

(510) 392-6966 is a tracking line on Twilio. Dialling it forwards you to dispatch; the carrier records the calling number, the moment and the duration, and the speech itself passes through without being recorded. Those records tell us which pages bring real work and let us call back someone who was cut off.

The booking button

Booking online hands you to Nexfield at nexfield.pro, the scheduling system this shop runs on. Name, phone, address and the slot you choose live there under Nexfield's terms and arrive here as a confirmed job. Everything bookable online is equally bookable by phone if you would rather it did not go through a web form.

Why no cookie banner appears

Because there are no cookies to consent to. Visits are counted by PostHog running in cookieless mode; session recording and automatic click capture are both switched off. Exactly four things are counted: the page being opened, a tap on the phone number, a tap on the booking button, a submitted quiz.

Block us-assets.i.posthog.com if you would rather not be counted — nothing on the site depends on it. There are no ad pixels and no retargeting tags on any page here.

What we will send you

Leaving a number means we may call and text you about that job: the confirmed price and arrival window, the technician's name, a heads-up when the van is minutes away. Service messages only — we do not market to past customers. Carrier rates apply and replying STOP ends texts immediately.

Who the details reach

The carrier that runs the line, Nexfield for the appointment, our dispatch, and — only if you pay by card — the processor behind the technician's terminal. That is the complete list, and each of them touches the job they are needed for.

We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not pass them to another locksmith. A request made here is worked here.

Keeping and deleting

Job paperwork is kept while the warranty runs and for as long as tax and lien records must exist; codes and key numbers tied to an address stay only while the job is open. Ask for a copy, or ask us to erase it, at info@campanilelocksmithberkeley.com.

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, a California resident may demand to know what we hold, have it deleted, and be told that none of it was sold or shared. Same address, or (510) 392-6966. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

Nothing here is aimed at children; this is a site for owners, tenants, landlords and drivers. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

Changes

This page is rewritten when the facts behind it change, and the date below moves when it is. We keep no public archive of earlier wording — ask and we will tell you what moved.
